ANO ANG CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) POISONING AT ANO ANG KONEKSYON NITO SA PAGGAMIT NG MGA GENSET?

Ang Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning ay nangyayari kung ang isang tao ay nakalanghap ng matataas na lebel ng CO. Ito ay pumapasok sa ugat ng tao at pinapalitan ang oxygen sa dugo na maaaring magdulot ng malubhang sakit o kamatayan.

Ang CO ay isang lason na walang amoy o lasa kaya hindi nalalaman kung nakalanghap nito ang isang tao. Ang mga generator set na ginagamit tuwing nawawalan ng kuryente ay isa sa mga pinagmumulan ng carbon monoxide. Ito ay maaaring makamatay depende sa konsentrasyon ng carbon monoxide sa paligid (mas mataas, mas delikado), sa tagal ng exposure sa usok nito (mas matagal, mas delikado) at sa kalusugan ng taong nakalanghap nito (kung may sakit mas delikado).

Ingatan ang sarili at ang iyong pamilya laban sa panganib na dulot ng carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning!

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 and 1 has been raised in different parts of the country, according to state weather bureau PAGASA's 11 AM bulletin on Nov. 8, 2025.

Filipinos in emergency situations will only need to dial one number—911—for urgent assistance, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said regarding the launch of the Unified 911 system last September.

The department said the Unified 911 is a single hotline that replaces more than 30 local emergency numbers.

According to the DILG, the single hotline for police, fire, medical, or disaster response will now be routed through a single integrated network linking the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and local governments.

Ayon sa DOST-PAGASA, inaasahang magla-landfall ang Typhoon Uwan sa katimugang bahagi ng Isabela o hilagang bahagi ng Aurora bukas ng gabi o Lunes ng madaling araw.

Kasalukuyan ding nasa Typhoon category ito ngunit inaasahang lalakas pa at magiging ganap na super typhoon sa mga susunod na oras.

Sa mga ganitong panahon, tumataas ang panganib ng pagkakasakit. Dahil dito, mahalagang tiyakin na may handa at kumpletong medicine kit ang bawat tahanan para agad matugunan ang mga simpleng karamdaman.

Buuin ang medicine kit na parte ng inyong Emergency Go Bag!
