The event, themed "Digital Health Systems and the Role of Medical Technologists: Sharing the Future of Universal Health Care," provided valuable insights into how digital technologies like telemedicine, AI, and automation can enhance healthcare delivery. Participants from Agusan del Sur gained practical knowledge that is expected to improve healthcare services in the province, particularly in remote areas.

The conference emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and collaboration among healthcare professionals. As a result, the Agusan del Sur Chapter is now focused on promoting the adoption of digital health systems within the province. By investing in digital infrastructure and engaging the community, they aim to enhance the quality of healthcare and contribute to the broader goals of Universal Health Care in the Philippines.

San Francisco, Agusan del Sur – In a remarkable display of community spirit and professional expertise, the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET) Agusan del Sur chapter assisted the MAGDIWATA Bloodletting Showcase on June 5, 2024, at the San Francisco Gymnasium. Themed "Sharing Life, Spreading Hope," the event brought together medical technologists, community members, and local officials in a united effort to save lives.

Mr. Franco Pierre B. Olaer, RMT, MSMLS, President of PAMET-ADS, graced the event alongside the organization's officers and medical technologists. Demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication, the team successfully collected an impressive 220 units of blood.

The event was a testament to the power of collaboration, with heartfelt thanks extended to all donors and the San Francisco Local Government Unit (LGU), especially Mayor Grace Carmel D. Paredes-Bravo and SB Member Ramil "Jing" Pulvera, for their invaluable support and partnership in making this life-saving initiative possible.
