Today, the Province of Palawan is one of the 15 provinces in the country that was incuded in the nationwide simultaneous relief distribution of 14.8M worth of relief assistance as part of the PRC's Multicyclone and Earthquake Operations supported by the IFRC, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and local partners.
297 families at Bgy. Tagumpay, Roxas, Palawan who were severely affected by the flooding due to the Typhoon Tino that struck the Province in November 2025, were among the beneficiaries who received relief items such as kitchen sets, hygiene kits and jerry cans.
This event is only a part of the 302.8 million worth of humanitarian assistance accross 17 provinces from the multiple disaster operations of the PRC since last year.
On his message rendered today, PRC Chairman Richard J. Gordon highlighted the importance of personal responsibility and the value of helping peole who helps themselves.
