To further strengthen emergency response capabilities, medical staff and nurses from Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc. (ZPMC) underwent a rigorous two-day Basic Life Support (BLS) Training on February 11โ12, 2026.
The intensive sessions were held at the Activity Area, 2nd Floor of ZPMC Tower A. The two-day BLS training was conducted by EMT trainers from DOH Labuan General Hospital: Bernardo D. Orpiano V., RN, MAN, MMHA, EMT; Allinmar B. Morgia, RN, EMT; Ronaleen Kyla E. Selarta, RN; Michael S. Sabtal, RN, EMT; and Raymark F. Bucoy, RN, CHRRMO.
The participation of ZPMC personnel highlights the institution's ongoing commitment to clinical excellence. By mastering these protocols under the supervision of such highly qualified emergency medical technicians and nurses, the attendees are now better equipped to manage cardiac arrests and other life-threatening emergencies.
