The Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissary and Exchange Service (AFPCES) conducted the Commander's Time today at the Multipurpose Hall, AFPCES Headquarters, Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The event was presided over by COL BEN C DOMINGO III PA (MNSA), Commander and General Manager of AFPCES, with LTC VANESSA ANGELA S SAMUDIO FS (GSC) PA, Deputy Commander of AFPCES, AFPCES officers and personnel in attendance.
In her opening remarks, LTC SAMUDIO FS (GSC) PA, emphasized that Commander's Time serves as a vital platform to strengthen communication, reinforce unity, and ensure alignment with AFPCES' mission, vision, and core values. She highlighted that the gathering provides an opportunity to relay important updates and directives, recognize personnel efforts, and address organizational concerns through open dialogue and shared understanding.
COL Domingo III PA (MNSA) highlighted the importance of commitment and unity for the year ahead, presenting Sustainability, Adaptability, and Responsiveness (SAR) as the foundation of his command guidance. He underscored that achieving progress requires discipline, teamwork, and integrity in serving the AFP community. He also underscored the value of malasakit, or heartfelt compassion, in both work and daily life, gently reminding everyone that the most important people are those waiting for them at home.
The Commander's Time reinforced AFPCES personnel's commitment to the organization's mission while fostering unity and shared purpose for the year ahead.
