We get lots of patients who have had previous whitening laser procedures in other clinics, sessions even reaching up to 30 with no observed improvement. This is because underarm whitening should address all factors of darkening:

✅️ Friction
✅️ Irritating hair removal methods
✅️ Use of irritating underarm products
✅️ Heavy sweating
✅️ Hormonal imbalance

You cannot expect the underarms to whiten when you are just focusing on only one or two things.

What do you think is the most important factor that dictates wound healing?

Age?
Presence of co-morbidities (ex. uncontrolled diabetes, anemia, etc)?
Location of wound?

While all of the above are equally important, what dictates wound healing is actually EARLY INTERVENTION.

This is a patient of ours who developed depressed scar after an infection involving her nose. We started patient on anti-scar medications ASAP and this is her just after 2 weeks. Amazing, right? Just some hyperpigmentation left and, hopefully, she'll have her old nose back again.

Those little bumps on the chin that don't go away despite applying topical medications?

Not acne. Not milia. Not whiteheads.

Those are sebaceous hyperplasia or bulked up oil glands under the skin. These can be removed by laser ablation like what we are doing here.
