Pagkatapos ng 2 buwan sa ospital, uuwi na si Yella sa Bataan with a happier heart (ulit). Bihira ang case ni Yella na sinira ng bacteria ang tapal ng butas kaya nakaranas ulit ng heart failure symptoms.

This time, ibang Yella ang nakita namin. From 5.5kg, uuwi sya na 8kg na. Nalungkot pa ang staff dahil talaga namang napakabibo at living doll sya. Pero masaya kami kase hindi na sasabihin ni Mommy Julie na “napakahirap pala ng road to happy heart”!🥰

Mami-miss ka namin Yella pero stay put ka lang sa Bataan ha?🙏🏻

Naantala ang cardiac cath dahil ang baba ng platelet (22 lang) na posibleng maging sanhi ng pagdudugo kapag tinusok na ang mga ugat sa singit na syang dadaanan ng catheters.

Maraming dahilan kung bakit bumababa ang platelet ng patient na may sakit sa puso. Pangunahin na theory ay ang kakulangan sa paggawa ng platelet sa baga. Kinailangan muna naming ipasuri sa specialist sa dugo because safety always comes first.🙏🏻

Days old pa lang si Dijon nung una ko syang puntahan sa isang hospital sa Pampanga. Hingal and very critical. Nakalabas. Pero na-admit ulit. Yung 2nd time, dapat sana luluwas na kami ng Maynila pero na-stabilize namin. He grew up and we planned. Today, that heart has been healed. Happy heart na talaga.❤️ *posted with permission

2 operations in one year. Una, BT shunt and now, total repair. Hindi na pinatagal ng mga parents nya. Napaka-tapang ni Miracle. Never umiyak or nagreklamo. Recovery was such a breeze din. MagPa-Pasko na talagang happy heart na.🙏🏻

Elo was diagnosed with acreally complex heart problem - DORV, MALPOSEG GREAT ARTERIES WITHOUT PULMONIC STENOSIS. Kasama nito ang pangangailangan sa madaliang operasyon. The ideal time is at 3months. He first came to my clinic a few days shy of 3 months. His parents, kasama si lola, vowed na gawin lahat para mapaoperahan ang bata, para hindi kamo mahuli at maunahan ng pagtaas mg pressure sa baga. It would be a difficult surgery - ARTERIAL SWITCH OPERATION kung saan pagbabaliktarin ang 2 major na ugat at tatakpan pa ang malaking butas. PERO, Elo breezed through his surgery as if regular butas lang ang mayroon sya. If truth be told, sya ang pinamakamabilis na SICU stay mg isang batang na-A*O. And now, he can’t stop feeding. Halimah went home tonight. Naalala ko pa yung 1st time syang ma-admit dahil sa ayaw tumigil na TET spells. Luckily, noong nasa room na, para namang walang nangyari. That gave us time to wait and prepare her for total repair.

So nagawa namin yun nung last week of November. And today, pink na sya. Happy heart na.🙏🏻

AJ went home tonight.❤️

Maraming steps leading to this day. He has a rare case of interrupted arch, isama pa ang napakalaking VSD (butas) na naging sanhi para tumaas ng sobra ang pressure sa baga. Alam naming hindi pwede isahang operasyon so kinailangan muna naming ayusin ang putol na ugat palabas ng puso na nagiging sanhi para mas kaunti ang daloy ng dugo sa ibabang bahagi ng katawan. Hopefully, after 6months, bumaba na ang pressure sa ulit na cardiac cath ng maisara na ang butas sap uso.

Pero kahit may isa pang operation, evident na ang changes kay AJ. Less na ang hingal, hindi na bumubuwelo kapag magsasalita.🥰

Ginawa na po nyang runway ang ospital. Everyday po, nagfa-fashion show sya. Yela has been at PHC for 2months now…we have been treating a blood infection that has severely damaged her post-op heart. But she’s ok now. Nagcomplete na lang po kami ng antibiotics.🥰

Yung datign irritable at maitim, masayahin na at napaka-daldal. Bumigat na din kase sabi ni Daddy Stanley wala ng tigil sa pag-milk.
