Addendum to the post this afternoon :

As I said earlier, for those who repeatedly ask about their schedule, we totally understand your anxiety and frustration. We know where you are coming from. As soon as Ate Milet and I can plot the entire schedule of patients who were illegally asked to pay in advance, we will find a way to post this for general viewing.

Apologies if I can’t respond immediately or personally to EACH message, as we are spending our time efficiently by looking at patients. Ate Milet does read each message and we reached the date of March 20 already.

In a difficult situation like this, I would like to give a shout out to families who have offered us nothing but kindness and patience. One time after a consultation , a parent who already paid in advance to the accused former secretary, insisted on giving us merienda. It is clear proof of the generosity of spirit of a parent who had been victimized.

On the other hand, we have also been at the receiving end of harsh, rude and accusatory statements. Yes, we understand that. But let me reiterate also that :

1. There is a prime suspect and we are appearing at the prosecutor’s office with our lawyer. Filing the case gives the perspective that the money is not with me. Otherwise why would I even appear in court?

2. No amount of money is with me, so what could I refund?

3. If you had paid in advance and you are already scheduled and YET, you missed your appointment by 90 minutes, then you should understand why you cannot be seen anymore, that you had to be rescheduled and you will HAVE TO WAIT as the other dates have been filled up.

4. Please also be cautious with the words that you throw at us as there can be a line between writing comments and transgressing legal boundaries of written expression.

We say NO to bullying of any form including cyber bullying.

Good Sunday everyone!

FYI….All messages that have come into our fb page until 2/20/25 have been logged. These are all those seeking appointments, with and without advanced payments(AP). We are not able to respond to each of you, but rest assure you and your child are in our list.

The clinic has extended its operating hours to accommodate those with AP. We are trying to schedule the children ASAP. Once the patient is next on the list, Ate Millet will call you.

Most of you have been patient, and understanding, Salamat po! There have been some who have chosen to disrespect and shame us, It’s okay, we understand where you are coming from.

Let’s pray to resolve this, soon.

As of Jan 30, 2025, we already have a schedule for February for patients with advance payments ( AP ) illegally collected by the former secretary.

If Ate Milet, contacts you that means you’ve been scheduled. If there is no message from her, it means you are still in line.

As previously posted:

1) Due to the number of scammed clients, it will take a while before everybody is seen. Dr De Guzman is looking at patients with AP and is not asking for add on fees. She is however, limited by the time and effort it will take to look at all patients with AP. Some patients are coming from the Visayas and Mindanao, also scammed.

This update is being used to reply to individual PM messages.

2) Dr de Guzman is using the time efficiently by assessing patients rather than replying to individual PMs.

Please be guided accordingly.

3) The legal process against the former secretary is ongoing and Dr Ria is attending to that as well to ensure that justice is given to all parents and their children.

4) Advance payments can only be refunded if the former secretary will pay the amount herself as mandated by the court.

Re: Developmental Assessments and Advance Payments

Facts:
All Fb messages sent until 1230 am today were re-read, and logged again. All information provided including contact details and advance payments were duly noted. These were personally done by me, Dr. Ria.

The next step is to schedule the children in the earliest dates FEASIBLE AND HUMANLY possible.

The scheduling will be fair to all. I decided to schedule patients based on the dates the messages were posted.
In fact, we contacted the first 5 on the list but did not get a reply. So, we move on.

Yes, I noted your requested dates but could not promise them.

Yes Sirs and M**s, I understand you have paid and have the right to demand, but please be gently reminded that there are about 100 of you who did the same thing, but payments never went to me. I am merely honoring a commitment that resulted from the deceitful act of the former secretary.

You will be contacted via text regarding your schedule. I can’t post it due to the data privacy law.

All incoming messages will be duly logged. I will not be able to respond to each. Doing so will consume several precious hours. I want to be able to use my time efficiently by focusing on doing the assessments.

The wheels of justice are turning, as well. The case is already with Prosecutor.

In this situation, amidst the anger, frustration, rage, complaints, demands, condemnation, let us just remember to be KIND.

1. Kindly read the official statement (to date) of Atty. Patricia DB Huevos who now represents Le Nid Developmental Center. This is to respond to all your inquiries and comments.

2. We have started giving appointments/assessing patients who have made advance payments. I gently remind you that it is not feasible to follow the schedules you want or the ones the former secretary gave you.

3. We are accepting new patients also. Those who have given contact numbers have been logged.

4. For ALL correspondence, please use the new official number of Le Nid Developmental Center 0916- 7660952. Ms. Millet Nepomuceno will respond to you. She is helping us rebuild schedules.

5. With the above number, you can also contact us on how you can possibly send a demand letter to the former secretary. This is regarding the return of the payment you made to her. This is for parents interested in the process. Rest assure all steps are within legal bounds.

Ana Marie Briones is NO LONGER associated with the Le Nid Developmental Center. Do not transact any business ( scheduling and payments) with her.

The Le Nid Developmental Center DOES NOT require any advance payments or deposits prior to patient’s appointment. All fees are collected AFTER assessment or therapy.
