As 2025 comes to a close, we are grateful beyond words to the members of PNA Zone 3 for your support and active participation in our 52nd Founding Anniversary and 39th Annual Local Convention, held on November 13–14, 2025. Day 1 embraced the digital platform, allowing wide participation through an online session that fostered learning and shared reflection, culminating in a face-to-face gathering on Day 2 at the UP Bahay ng Alumni, where camaraderie and shared purpose were felt more deeply.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed speakers, whose time, knowledge, and expertise enriched the discussions and inspired our members to continue advancing professional excellence and integrity in nursing practice.

A special highlight of this milestone event was the recognition of the Top 3 Institutions with the most distinguished institutional presence which showed a strong commitment to professional growth and nursing excellence:
RANK 1 – St. Luke’s Medical Center
RANK 2 – Lung Center of the Philippines
RANK 3 – World Citi Medical Center

This major activity reflected what we stood for in 2025—collaboration despite challenges, integrity in service, and strength in togetherness. As we look back with gratitude, we move forward inspired, carrying the lessons and connections that will continue to guide PNA Zone 3 in the years ahead.

Before every movement that shakes history, there is a moment of stillness where a mind awakens.

Rizal did not lead with weapons, but with knowledge, coupled with empathy and moral courage. As a physician, he understood that healing goes beyond treating illness; it requires seeing the person, the community, and the roots of suffering. This mirrors the heart of nursing—to care not only for the body, but for dignity, equity, and humanity.

For nurses today, Rizal’s life is a reminder that our daily acts of compassion matter. We may not always be loud, but our care—grounded in knowledge and guided by conscience—has the power to change lives.

As we come together this Christmas season, we look back on a year that tested us in many ways. The challenges of 2025 were not easy, yet they became opportunities for us to grow stronger as a chapter—deepening our trust in one another and reminding us of the value of standing firm in integrity, even when the path was uncertain.
This year taught us that growth often comes through difficulty, and that unity, honesty, and purpose are what carry us through. May we continue to find light in the darkest corners, courage in times of doubt, and strength in our shared mission.
As we move forward, may we push our advocacies with renewed commitment, never losing sight of our reason for being—to serve with compassion, uphold our values, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those entrusted to our care.

This year tested our resilience and deepened our sense of purpose. Through PNA Zone 3’s efforts to 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑨𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓, we witnessed the true spirit of nursing—service grounded in compassion, solidarity, and hope. Together, we stood with our communities and affirmed that even in crisis, caring with integrity makes healing possible.
Through your generosity we were able to extend our reach beyond our community and extend help through our counterparts in other regions:
1. Php 16,000 – sent to PNA Cebu Chapter for earthquake victims through Sir Rolly VIllarin
2. Php 15,000 – sent to PNA Davao Chapter for earthquake victims through Sir Odranoel Sallinac Gnidnutam
3. Pre-loved clothes and other items – sent to PNA Cebu Chapter for the victims of Typhoon Tino through Sir Rolly Villarin
4. Pre-loved clothes and other items – sent to PNA Catanduanes Chapter for the victims of Super Typhoon Uwan through Ma'am Lilibeth Tubalinal. Our special appreciation goes out to Mr. Bryan Balmadrid for your efforts of picking up the boxes from the bus station and bringing them to our recepient.
