ROLLING SCARS

My favorite scars to treat? Definitely rolling scars.

Why? Because they respond BEAUTIFULLY to treatment — and we have multiple options to address them properly. When assessed correctly and treated with the right technique, most patients already see a significant improvement after just one session 👌🏻

Rolling scars are caused by fibrous bands tethering the skin down, which creates that soft, wavy or uneven appearance. This is exactly why subcision works so well. It releases those bands underneath the skin — and once the skin is freed, it naturally lifts and smoothens out.

And yes… subcision is the most dreaded procedure for most patients 😅 But honestly? It’s not as painful as people imagine. With proper anesthesia and technique, it’s very tolerable.

For added support and longer-term improvement, I often combine it with fillers or biostimulators. These don’t just “fill” — they help stimulate collagen and improve skin quality over time.

The key is proper diagnosis. Not all acne scars are the same — and rolling scars are one of the most rewarding to treat when done correctly.

Scar revision is a process, but with the right plan, the results can be life-changing.
