🇵🇭
“As a concerned Filipino, I have always prayed for justice, truth, and righteousness to prevail in our beloved country. Over the years, we’ve seen how deep corruption has rooted itself in many levels of government, often leaving the poor and powerless to suffer while the corrupt grow richer and bolder.
But there are moments when nature itself seems to cry out for justice. I remember the earthquakes that struck our land—not just as tremors of the earth, but as a wake-up call. In those moments of shaking ground and broken silence, I couldn’t help but feel that it was more than just a natural occurrence. It felt like a divine message: a call to repentance, a shaking not only of buildings but of hardened hearts and corrupt systems.
I don’t celebrate destruction or loss, and my heart grieves for those affected. But I believe these events are reminders from God that He sees what is done in secret, and He is not silent. The ground trembles because the heavens are not blind to injustice. Each quake is a call to return to righteousness—to remind our leaders and citizens alike that power is fleeting, and only truth stands firm.
May we not wait for more shaking to change our ways. Let these events humble us, cleanse our conscience, and stir in us the courage to stand for what is right. I believe God is at work—even through nature—to bring justice and healing to our nation.”
