Incidents like this are often preventable. Proper leash use, staying alert, and not bringing dogs out if they can’t be controlled already make a big difference, especially in shared spaces with community cats like Ghost.

Let this be a reminder that responsibility goes beyond our own pets. A little more awareness and control can help protect the lives around us who can’t speak for themselves. 🙏

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗚𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗧'𝗦 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗢𝗢

Some lives pass quietly, without ever asking for much. A safe corner to rest. A familiar street to return to. A world that does not harm them.

GHOST was one of them.

In the spaces we share with animals, every action we take carries weight. The way we walk our dogs. The way we stay present. The way we choose to act in moments that seem small, but are not. Because for animals who depend on us to move safely through our world, those moments can mean everything.

Community cats live among us, trusting that the spaces they know will not suddenly turn dangerous. They rely on a balance we are responsible for keeping. When that balance is broken, it is often them who pay the price.

This is not about blame. It is about awareness. About understanding that care extends beyond the animals we call our own.

Responsibility does not end at ownership. It shows in how we prevent harm before it happens. In how we choose caution, control, and respect in shared spaces.

GHOST'S life mattered. And so does every other life that quietly exists alongside us.

Let this be more than a story we feel sad about for a moment. Let it change how we act.

Keep your dogs on a leash. Stay alert in shared spaces. Do not bring them out if you cannot control them. These are not small choices, they are the difference between safety and harm.

Speak up when you see risk. Remind others, even when it feels uncomfortable. Protect not just your own pets, but the lives around you that have no one to advocate for them in that moment.

Because one moment of inattention is all it takes. And for animals like Ghost, there is no second chance.

Last week, our home service visit included consultation and Complete Blood Count testing for 16 pets to assess their overall health and wellness. Proper screening helps detect early signs of illness and ensures timely care for your furbabies.

Doc Steph led the team together with Doc Manjo to carefully assess and determine the overall health of the dogs. 🐾

Our patients included Jam Umali, Choowie Umali, Bea, Snow, Almond, Arya, Phoebe, Potato, Lucy, Simon Umali, Cloud, Poypoy, Bruce, Connor, Tofu, and Luke. 🤍
