‼️DOH: PALAKASIN ANG PEER SUPPORT GROUPS KONTRA SUICIDE‼️

Inirerekomenda ng DOH ang pagsasapinal at patuloy na pagsuporta sa mga youth-led peer support group para matugunan ang lumalaking pangangailangan para sa mga programang may kinalaman sa mental health.

Kaugnay nito, inilunsad na sa 50 Provincial at City-Wide Health Systems (P/CWHS) ang paggamit ng DOH Peer Support Groups Playbook.

Kabilang sa playbook ang mga training para sa mga peer facilitators at mga educational materials para higit pang buksan sa kabataan ang usaping mental health.

Sa pamamagitan ng peer support groups, nagkakaroon ang kabataan ng ligtas na espasyo kung saan sila ay napapakinggan, nauunawaan, at nagiging bahagi ng isang inklusibo at pantay na komunidad (WHO, 2021).

Batay sa DOH National Assessment of the Mental Health Literacy of Filipinos (2024), 2 sa bawat 3 kabataang Pilipino ay handang humingi ng tulong—isang malinaw na palatandaan na bukas ang kabataan sa pag-uusap at pagtutulungan, lalo na para sa mga may pinagdadaanan.

To all our faculty, staff and students: Please be informed and protect yourself from leptospirosis.

LEPTOSPIROSIS is a disease caused a bacteria coming from the urine of an infected animal such as rat. Human transmission is by being exposed to contaminated water such as flood.

If you have open wound, do not immerse yourself in floods and in case you cannot avoid it, make sure to wear protective boots and seek consultation immediately to give you medical protection from the disease.

Be knowledgeable about heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Always bring water, umbrella and extra clothes for your protection.

As Dengue cases are increasing in Quezon City, please be aware of the symptoms of the disease such as fever, body pain, headache and rashes. Warning signs include abdominal pain, vomiting and bleeding.

To protect yourself and your family, please do the 5S against Denge of DOH:

✅ Seek Early Consultation
✅ Seek Self Protection
✅ Support Fogging
✅ Sustain Hydration

Another case of monkeypox was confirmed by the Department of Health. Please read the information below to know more about the disease.

Always protect yourself by wearing face mask, doing daily handwashing and by social distancing from persons with symptoms. If you develop any symptoms, seek medical consultation right away.

Health Advisory ‼️

All students, teachers and staff are advised to stay indoor and avoid direct exposure to sunlight for we are experience high heat index in the country. High hear index can cause heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of water. Bring umbrella or cap when going out. If you develop symptoms such as headache, dizziness and high blood pressure, seek medical consultation immediately.
