LIBRENG OPERASYON. Magandang balita para sa ating mga pasyente, ang University of Santo Tomas Hospital, Section of Urology ay nagsasagawa ng mga libreng operasyon para sa ating mga charity patient. Ang sakit tulad ng Kidney cancer (kanser sa bato) ay maaaring magamot sa pamamagitan ng operasyon kung ito ay localized disease at hindi pa kumakalat sa ibang parte ng katawan. Binubuo ang team ng mga ekspertong urology consultant, fellow at residente na layunin na maibigay ang pinakamahusay na pangangalaga sa ating mga pasyente.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Due to inclement weather, the free prostate cancer screening by the UST Hospital, Section of Urology, in partnership with PUA, PSUO, and Astellas Oncology, Inc., is moved to October 4, 2025 (Saturday), 8:00 AM.

📍 Venue: USTH Ambulatory Care Service – Urology Clinic

👥 Who are invited:
• Men 50 years and older
• Those with a family history of prostate cancer
• Those with symptoms of prostate enlargement

✅ Reminders:
• Please arrive early for registration
• Bring a valid ID and any previous labs/prescriptions (if available)
• If on medications, bring the list and dosage
• Follow clinic safety and health protocols

The USTH Section of Urology, in partnership with the Philippine Urological Association, successfully hosted “Urology Face Off: Comparing the Best Approaches to Urologic Diseases” on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the AVR, Mezzanine, St. John Paul Building, USTH.

This postgraduate course brought together distinguished specialists and practitioners for an in-depth exploration of current management strategies in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Urologic Oncology, Urolithiasis, Reconstructive Urology, and Functional Urology. The program also featured industry-sponsored lectures, providing participants with insights into emerging technologies and therapeutics in the field.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed speakers for generously sharing their clinical expertise and research-based perspectives. Your contributions were integral to the success of this academic initiative.
