Tight lats can mess up more than you think.

If your shoulders feel restricted overhead or your lower back keeps arching during lifts, your lats might be too tight. That tension can limit shoulder motion and even contribute to low back pain.

We use dry needling, followed by mobility exercise so the release actually translates into better movement.

A dentist came to our clinic with chronic low back pain, especially during barbell squats and deadlifts.

On assessment, we found she was overusing her global core muscles and not properly activating her deep stabilizers. During exercises, she would shift into excessive anterior or posterior pelvic tilt, losing control of her pelvis under load.

We focused on restoring deep core engagement, improving pelvic control, and gradually rebuilding her strength with better mechanics.

Now on her 10th PT session, she’s 99% better. Lifting with control, confidence, and no more back pain.
