We, a class of third year medical students from FEU- Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation together with the Department of Community and Family Medicine envision to reach those who are in need of help through medical consultations using media platforms that are easily available to the Filipino community. This innovative step not only allows people to access care in the comfort and privacy of their own but also eliminates the risk of picking up infection at the doctor's office.

As Covid19 continues to affect our healthcare system, Telemedicine has become remarkably important. We, medical students aim to educate health care workers especially our doctors in practicing telemedicine amidst Covid-19 pandemic.

To promote health in the trying times of this pandemic, we must minimize the people’s risk of exposure to COVID-19 and at the same time still be able to address their existing healthcare needs. Let’s tackle how we can do both with the help of Telemedicine.

Join us in better undestanding the practice of Telemedicine — its guidelines, possible applications, advantages, and disadvantages; as well as the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of physicians who have had experience in the platform.

Through this educational video and interview from our guest physicians — Dr. Melo Jane Paz, Dr. Rea Dalida, and Dr. Menchu Liwanag; may we futher embark on the expanding future of healthcare.
