What does "Acts of God" mean in insurance?
An Act of God is a legal term for events outside human control, such as sudden floods or other natural disasters, for which no one can be held responsible.
An example would be the Typhoon Ondoy and Typhoon Yolanda.
If you did not have coverage for "acts of god" in your car or property insurance, damages brought about by such natural disasters will not be covered by your insurance company.
