Sometimes people look okay, but they’re carrying things they don’t talk about. That’s why a simple “𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐤𝐚?” can really mean a lot. It doesn’t have to be deep or dramatic—just letting someone know you’re there can make their day feel a little lighter.

Check up on your friends. Ask how they’re doing, listen to their stories, and remind them they don’t have to face things alone. Life gets easier when we hold space for each other. So go ahead, send that message, start that conversation, or simply sit beside someone who needs company.

Small efforts. Big impact.

𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦: 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬

Finals are coming and every semester gives us a mix of victories and struggles passing quizzes we thought we’d fail, surviving group works, and pushing through deadlines even when our brains feel like they’re running on 1% battery. It’s never easy, but students always find ways to cope: taking short breaks, asking for help, supporting each other, and reminding ourselves that it’s okay to rest.

To support this, QCU Peers created a activity called 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 Discussion last November 19, 2025, from 2:00PM to 3:30 PM at the Conference Room, Academic Building, focusing on students real experiences in their academic journey—their wins, challenges, and personal coping mechanism where students can openly share their wins, challenges, and the different ways they cope with academic pressure. These conversations remind us that even when school feels heavy, we’re never facing it alone. At the end of the day, what matters is we try, we grow, and we keep moving forward—together.

With all the deadlines, group work and sleepless nights, it’s easy to forget that our mind and body need care too. This Halloween, let’s take a pause from the pressuring stuff and focus on something truly magical — 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: you don’t need a magic wand to feel better and to take care of yourself. Sometimes, self-care just means saying no to things that drain your energy or when you're tired, taking that nap without feeling guilty because of pending task, or simply reminding yourself, “𝘐’𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩”.

This Halloween, let's talk about mental health more openly. No need to hide behind those masks or pretend everything’s okay. A real magic happens when we're honest about what we really feel with ourselves and reach out for help when needed.

Take care of your mind, your heart, and your spirit — because you are your most powerful spell.
