Featured Test: Cancer Antigen (CA) 72-4

The Cancer Antigen (CA) 72-4 measures a protein commonly found on the surface of certain cancer cells, including those of the stomach, o***y, breast, colon, and pancreas. Elevated levels are often seen in gastric cancer, but can also appear in some non-cancerous conditions such as pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis, pneumonia, or ovarian cysts. Monitoring CA 72-4 levels helps doctors assess disease activity and guide treatment decisions.
