Our therapeutic approach incorporates an integrative model along with coordinated movement, balance, auditory processing and cognitive abilities coupled with a concerned and caring attitude for each patient. Barry (not his real name), aged 10.

My son is very active in school specially with sports. He is known to excel in baseball and tennis. One time, I was approached by one his coaches because they noticed he was squinting a lot and often misses the ball during practices. It was unusual and they wanted me to know about it and I’m really grateful that they did. A mom from Barry’s little league, suggested Vision Therapy and referred me to VTP. I was very happy with their service. They were very professional and explained everything to us easily. My son also started his therapy there after and he’s been enjoying it ever since. He had problems with his hand-eye-coordination because of his vision. And now, hes back on track with his sports and doing even better than before. All thanks to Vision Therapy!

I just graduated senior high and I’m about to embark in my college journey. My last year in senior high was very challenging. I had many symptoms I never thought was related to my vision that affected my performance in school and my day to day activities. I experienced headaches and blurry vision this cascaded to short attention span, trouble focusing and learning problems. I was alarmed specially now that my college journey is just around the corner, I didn’t like the feeling for being compromised. After telling my mom about my concerns, she hunched it might be Vision related since poor vision runs in our family. After booking a consultation with our Optometrist, Dr. Maia, we found out I had Strabismus and was assured it is very treatable with non-invasive treatment through Vision Therapy. I am very relieved and confident with the progress I am making in the past 5 months of Vision Therapy. My vision is sharper, I am more focused and ready before I go to college.
