It's the rainy season again. And that means... you never know when and where flooding will happen. If you have been exposed to flood water, consult your Obstetrician.

What is cervical cerclage?

A cervical cerclage is a treatment done by a specialist that involves temporarily sewing the cervix closed with stitches, in cases when the cervical length is deemed to be shortening. This may help the cervix hold a pregnancy in the uterus. A cerclage is done to eligible patients in the second trimester of pregnancy to prevent preterm birth or miscarriage.
