The DOH Health Promotion Bureau - Media and External Relations Division, through the CHD CaLaBaRZon Health Promotion - Communications Management Unit, successfully conducted the Media Conference: Engaging Media for Health Literacy on Healthy Holidays and Cancer held on November 26-28 in Tagaytay City.

The three-day conference brought together media workers and Communications Management Units from Metro Manila, CaLaBaRZon, MiMaRoPa, and Bicol to strengthen their capacity in reporting health-related stories and in producing accurate, timely, and impactful health news.

Topics discussed included the prevention of road traffic injuries for Ligtas Christmas and early detection, prevention, and treatment of cancer. Participants were also provided with insights on Holiday Heart Syndrome, fire prevention, Hospital Preparation for the Holidays, and the health impact of Climate Change as part of the priority disease prevention efforts for 2026.

The activity aimed to further reinforce the DOH’s partnership with the media, ensuring stronger collaboration in disseminating reliable and evidence-based health information to the public.

Mainit na sinalubong ng mga GenTriseño ang paglulunsad ng itoDOH Medical Mission sa General Trias Convention Center nitong Sabado, November 22, 2025.

Sa pagtutulungan ng DOH CHD CaLaBaRZon, Cavite Provincial DOH Office, Provincial at City Health Office, umabot sa mahigit 1,620 na libreng serbisyong pangkalusugan ang napakinabangan ng mga residente katulad ng:
