HIV cases in the Philippines continue to rise at an alarming rate, especially among the youth. The country is facing one of the fastest-growing HIV epidemics in the Asia-Pacific region. Awareness, testing, and treatment are more critical now than ever.

Last May 14, 2025, the Philippine Orthopedic Center - Infection Prevention and Control Committee and the HIV/AIDS Core Team, in partnership with the Social Hygiene Clinic Project 7, Quezon City, joined the global observance of the AIDS International Candlelight Memorial.

Together, we remembered those who lost their lives to AIDS and renewed our commitment to fighting stigma, promoting awareness, and supporting those living with HIV. 💪❤️

Let us break the silence. Get tested. Know your status. End the stigma. ✊
