Instead, tuparin mo ang sinumpaan mong pangako sa Panginoon.' 34 Pero sinasabi ko sa inyo, wag kayong manunumpa kapag mangangako kayo. Wag nyong sabihing, 'Witness ko ang langit,' dahil trono ito ng Diyos, 35or Witness ko ang lupa,' dahil tuntungan nya ito. Wag nyo din sabihing, 'Witness ko ang Jerusalem, dahil yun ang syudad ng dakilang Hari. 36 Wag mo din gamitin sa panunumpa ang ulo mo dahil di mo kayang paputiin o paitimin kahit isang hibla ng buhok mo. 37 Sabihin mo na lang na 'Yes' kung yes at 'No' kung no, dahil ang anumang idadagdag dito ay galing na sa Devil."
