Position Title : Accounting Assistant
Department : Finance and Accounting Department
Reporting to : Finance and Accounting Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

• Preferably CPA

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounting field

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

QUALITIES:

• Has the ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Has strong analytical skills,

• Has very good verbal and written communication skills

• Keen to details and with solid organizational skills
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to the bank.

• Monitors Aging of Accounts Receivable and keep track of overdue accounts.

• Prepares BIR tax returns and other tax compliances.

• Processes Accounts Payable within agreed terms.

• Monitors Aging of Accounts Payable
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares cash vouchers and checks

• Prepares Statement of Account of Doctors per cut-off

• Audit of cash and guaranteed transactions

• Posting of sales transactions in the system

• Recording of collections in the system

• Prepares billing statement for sending out to clients

• Reconciles Accounts Receivable as per HMO/Corporate payment against billing statement and reports any discrepancies

• Follows up clients on outstanding accounts.

• Encodes in BIR relief data system all sales and purchase transactions on a monthly basis

• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

• Facilitates cabling network, if there is an additional requirements at the clinic.

• Manages/maintains accurate documentation of system and network user accounts
• Documentation of hardware and software inventory within the assigned inventory software and documentation of system and network user accounts, among other duties
