A case of vertigo , a 49 y/o lady came for consultation in the clinic for vertigo she experience each time she get up from bed, She describe the vertigo persists for few minutes and until she assumes an upright head position already. She also have an lumbar scoliosis of which she also experience occasional pain.

Upon examination, stiffness of the shoulder muscles on both sides are pronounced .

In one session the patient was completely relieved instantly from vertigo, using the combination of craniosacral therapy and total body modification(TBM).
Craniosacral therapy involves the release of the subluxation of the cervical 1 and 2, and loosening of bilateral shoulder muscles. while the TBM helped the scoliotic lumbar area as the bilateral paravertebal were relaxed partially straightening the scoliotic lumbar area.

Dr Sonny Viloria arrived recently after completing another updating seminar on feldenkrais therapy from New York, The seminar is more on the core therapy which involves the strengthening and rectifying of the muscles surrounding the spinal vertebra. It involves more on the misalignment or subluxation of the vertebra which may or may not give symptoms. The therapy is beneficial for uncomplicated cases of scoliosis, mild disc herniation, uneven leg length or other forms of chronic back pains. It involves more of exercise which the patient can practice at home so that further complications. may be prevented.
