Our beginnings and milestones
We were born from a deep discussion of our dynamic leaders in Starbucks. Three months later, we kicked off our operations. Manned only by a regulatory pharmacist and two skeletal sales forces, we have vigorously marketed two major products in GMA and Luzon: Buminate (Albumin 25%) of Baxter-Bioscience and Tramadol (Milador) Inj. We opened 2010 with a bang. With a nine-man team to boast, we faced the challenge of exclusively marketing new top-of-the-line critical care products like central catheters and pressure monitoring kits with Safeset, a closed, needle-free blood sampling system, from ICU Medical Inc.-USA and Totilac (Hypertonic Sodium Lactate Solution) from Innogene Kalbiotech-Indonesia. In April 2010, we have further expanded our sales force. We have forged marketing agreements with both national and multinational companies. We have been entrusted to distribute the original Nicardipine, Perdipine, from Astellas Pharma. We have also introduced into the market Baxter Healthcare Philippines’ newly-launched Premixed KCL (20meq/100ml & 40meq/100ml) and Flexbumin in a flex bag (the first Closed System Human Albumin). Our directions
We intend to aggressively expand our product line and customer base. We want to tap the available sales and marketing opportunities and create new niches. We can achieve this by being a key player both in the critical and general care markets. We plan to serve the pediatric and adult intensive care units (ICUs), coronary care and oncology units, operating rooms (ORs), and emergency rooms (ERs). We commit to bring innovative intravenous drugs and delivery devices to these markets, enhancing clinical performance for patients and simplifying work processes for doctors and nurses alike. We are also determined to help our fellow Filipinos afford quality healthcare by carrying cost-effective product portfolios, from care drugs to medical devices. We pledge to meet the government cost-containment measures. We will bring pride to our country as we want to earn the trust and the confidence of our customers, principals, manufacturers, and suppliers from Asia, the US, Europe, and Latin America.
