CASE OF THE DAY:
This case involves a female patient who sustained dental trauma after tripping and striking her mouth against the floor. The treatment plan included fracture reduction of the maxillary central incisor, followed by root canal treatment with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) used as the obturation material. A five-month postoperative radiograph demonstrated an intact lamina dura and a stable crown, indicating signs of healing.
Further follow-up radiographs will be taken after one year for continuous monitoring of the healing process.
