📣 We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the NRL Water Chemistry Program: 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, conducted from 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the Dr. Socorro Yañez Hall, National Reference Laboratory, East Avenue Medical Center, Quezon City.

This intensive 10－day training brought together Registered Chemists and dedicated lecturers for a series of in－depth lectures, hands－on laboratory exercises, and collaborative discussions.

The course was designed to enhance the participants’ competencies in conducting physical and chemical analyses of drinking water in accordance with established standards.

This training program is designed for laboratory personnel seeking to develop essential skills in detecting and analyzing heterotrophic plate count (HPC) bacteria and coliforms in drinking water, ensuring compliance with PNSDW 2017.

ANNOUNCEMENT: 2026 PROFICIENCY TESTING PROGRAM FOR WATER TESTING LABORATORIES

NRL-EOHTM is pleased to announce the schedule of the 2026 PT Program for Water Testing Laboratory (2026 WTL PT). the 16th PT since its implementation in 2009. Due to the national scope of this activity which comprises 200 accredited WTL's, PT samples will be sent in 2 batches from July 13, 2026 (TENTATIVE DATES) and August 24, 2026.

A registration fee of PhP 4,500.00 will be charged to the participating laboratory to defray the cost of reagents, supplies, and other operating expenses.

All interested laboratories are advised that the deadline for registration is 31 May 2026.
