Etymology:
From Old English threat meaning “danger or warning of harm,” and Greek analysis meaning “a breaking down or examination.” Together, the term emphasizes carefully examining possible dangers before they escalate into actual incidents.

Sa industriya ng seguridad, ang Threat Analysis ay mahalaga upang maagap na matukoy ang mga posibleng panganib—mula sa internal risks hanggang external threats. Sa pamamagitan nito, nakakapaglatag ang security team ng mas epektibong control measures, mas napapalakas ang preparedness, at mas napoprotektahan ang mga tao at ari-arian laban sa anumang banta.
