UP Diliman Health Maintenance Organization - UPHMO UPHMO is a health care system for the UP community started in 1988. After assistance was phased out in 1990,UPHMO has been initially self supporting.

The University of the Philippines Diliman Health Maintenance Organization,Inc.(UPHMO) aims to make health care available to low and middle income households; generate new resources at the community level for health care; and help achieve financial self-reliance for health care at the community level. The UPHMO is a pilot HMO which was initially supported by PCHRD and USAID with technical and managerial assistance provided by HEWPECS, Inc and INTERCARE Research Foundations,Inc.
