Stories were shared. Stigma was challenged. And a space was created where menstruation could be talked about openly, honestly, and without shame. 🩸✨

Our Open Mic Night became a safe and affirming space where members of the community shared their voices and experiences. From heartfelt pieces to moments that made the room laugh and cheer, the night reminded us that conversations about menstruation do not have to be awkward or hidden. They can be honest, empowering, and even joyful when we create spaces that are truly inclusive.

Maraming salamat to everyone who showed up, listened, cheered, and helped make the space feel warm and welcoming. And a huge shoutout to our amazing performers who generously shared their art and stories with us:

Conversations like these help create campuses where everyone can show up as their full selves. 🌈

Last February 27, Pioneer FTM joined the Roundtable Discussion on LGBTQI Rights and SOGIESC Campus Inclusion at Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College, Marikina.

Together with students, faculty, and staff, we discussed how schools can build safer and more affirming spaces for LGBTQI students, including gender-affirming systems, facilities, and inclusive institutional practices, such as the respectful use of lived names and pronouns.

Maraming salamat sa Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College - Guidance Center for creating this space for honest dialogue and collaboration. We’re grateful to everyone who joined the conversation with openness and courage.

Liberation is not a zero-sum game.

This International Women’s Day, we reiterate our unwavering commitment to standing with women in all their diversity and to supporting the campaign.

Women still face sexism and misogyny that manifest in civil, political, social, and economic assault and discrimination. These harms occur each day in workplaces, communities, and institutions. When women, especially those at the margins, are silenced or targeted, the entire society is set back.

Governments and their public officials entrusted with power and public resources carry a moral and legal duty to uphold gender equality, not utilize their authority to harass, demean, harm women, and embolden men by their example. Those who abuse their positions or enable environments where women are made unsafe have no business holding public office.

Accountability is not optional, and those who cannot uphold the dignity and rights of women must face sanctions.

At Pioneer FTM, we believe that resistance, collective action, and care are the forces that sustain gender equality movements. We give our voice, platform, and steadfast solidarity to women, especially those facing intersecting forms of harm. Our community sees the landscape clearly, and we are not silent spectators.

Today and every day, we celebrate the brilliance, incomparable strength, and leadership of all women. When women thrive, the world liberates.

✊🏼 MASANG PILIPINO, HUWAG PUMAYAG NA IBASURA ANG KASAYSAYAN NG EDSA UPRISING.

May malinaw na tangka na tanggalin sa kamalayan ng masa ang kasaysayan ng EDSA uprising. Hindi ito basta "ordinaryong araw" kundi ito ay paalala na ang nag-alsa at nagkaisang lakas ng ordinaryong Pilipino ang nagpabagsak sa diktadura ni Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., at naging daan para maumpisahan ang hangad na demokratikong pamamahala sa gobyerno.

40 years na ang nakalipas, pero ang banta ng pananamantala ay narito pa rin. Ang pagbalewala sa araw na ito ay patunay na may mga pwersang gustong kalimutan natin ang ating sariling kapangyarihan.

Kailangang patuloy ang pagkakaisa tungo sa mas makataong pag-go-gobyerno. Huwag pumayag na patuloy ang pagpapa-ikot ng mga Marcos, Duterte, at oligarchs sa masamang Pilipino, walang sinumang abusadong public servant ang mas malakas kaysa sa nagkakaisa at matalinong bayan.

Bilang bahagi ng LGBTQI community, bitbit ng Pioneer FTM ang diwa ng People Power sa bawat hakbang. Ang aming laban para sa pagkilala at karapatan ay hindi hiwalay sa laban para sa isang gobyernong hindi abusado at magnanakaw, tapat, makatao, at makatarungan. Hindi tayo papayag na patuloy ang pang-aabuso, marginalisasyon, takot at korapsyon sa bansa. 🏳️‍⚧️✊🏽🌈
