Tiniyak ng DOH sa publiko na may nakahandang mga hakbang laban sa Nipah virus, kabilang ang border surveillance at screening protocols.

Ayon sa ahensiya, ipinatutupad na ang mga ito sa mga paliparan at pantalan, may presensiya man ng virus o wala.

HANDA ANG PILIPINAS SA NIPAH VIRUS, AYON SA DOH

Hindi na bago sa Pilipinas ang Nipah virus at handa ang bansa para rito, ayon sa Department of Health.

Ito'y sa gitna ng mga ulat na mino-monitor ng mga awtoridad ng ibang bansa ang virus na kumakalat sa India. Ayon sa DOH, naitala na umano ito sa Sultan Kudarat noong 2014, kung saan nagkaroon ng 17 cases.

Alamin dito ang mga dapat nating malaman tungkol sa naturang virus at ang mga sintomas nito.
