Ragay Adolescent Friendly Health Facility

The Adolescent Health Summit 2025 was successfully conducted a day filled with learning, fun, and inspiration for our young people!

From the careful planning and preparation of the Rural Health Unit, together with our Adolescent Health Coordinators, PHNs, Midwives, DOH-HRH staff, and Job Order personnel, up to the culmination of the event, everyone’s hard work and teamwork made this meaningful activity possible.

The summit aimed to raise awareness among adolescents on important topics such as reproductive health, mental well-being, self-empowerment, and responsible decision-making, while also promoting a supportive and youth-friendly environment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit, led by our beloved Mayor Benchie G. Horibata, for the continuous support to all our health and youth programs. Special thanks as well to our Municipal Health Officer, Dra. Virgin G. Ramirez, for her guidance, dedication, and encouragement.

To the entire Adolescent and Development Program Team, our teachers, youth participants, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, thank you for your commitment and passion.

The success of the Adolescent Health Summit 2025 stands as a testament that when we work together, we can build a stronger, healthier, and more empowered generation. 💙

The Local Government Unit of Ragay,under the guidance of Mayor Thaddeus A. Ramos through the Municipal Health Office Adolescent Health and Development Program, conducted an awareness campaign and counseling session tailored for secondary students. This activity aims to promote their holistic well-being,equipping them with the knowledge to make informed and responsible decisions, particularly in preventing teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

The activity was conducted under the theme "Healthy Teens, Bright Future: Raising Awareness for Adolescent Health."

May condom ka ba sa wallet?

O hanggang dyan na lang yan ha. ‘Wag mo nang balaking gamitin kasi most likely, may punit na yan and for sure hindi na effective na proteksyon sa di planadong pagbubuntis at pagkahawa ng sexually transmitted infections. 😅
