In observance of the Holy Week, please be informed that our Outpatient Department (OPD) will be closed on the following dates:

Regular OPD operations will resume on April 6, 2026 (Monday).

CS PER MATERNAL REQUEST: SKL

Naalala ko during the time na nagstart ako magGentleBirth practice at lahat ng pwede ay kinakausap ko magnormal delivery o VBAC, may isa akong patient na never ko nagawan ng IE. Bakit? Sobrang sakit daw to the point na umiiyak na siya humihiga pa lang sa k**a. So di ako nagIE dahil grabe ang anxiety level niya. Kaya nag-usap kami.

👩‍⚕️: Mommy, paano ka manganganak niyan, nakapwesto ng maayos si baby, ok siya at ok ka, pwedeng pwedeng magnormal delivery.
🤰: CS niyo na lang ako, Doc. Sure na ako.

Ang ending, naCS din siya, dahil yun ang personal choice niya. At after ko siya macounsel ng mga benefits and risks ng CS.

Pag-follow up niya, binabantayan ko if may pagsisisi ba siya sa desisyon niya kasama ng gastusin (mas mataas PF namin sa mga operative delivery kasama ang CS).

Masaya naman siya. Nagbreastfeed. At peace sa desisyon niya. Next na pagbubuntis niya, CS pa din daw.

While we advocate for normal delivery, we cannot supercede the decision of our patients when it comes to the management without their consent.

Ako lang ang nanghinayang nung una, pero at the end of the day, pag well-informed decision naman ang ginawa nila, at desidido sila, sila pa din ang masusunod. Of course, this is based on our princoples and preference. Kase minsan pag hinfi acceptable, then we refer to our colleagues.
