With the anxiety and fatigue that the pandemic has caused us, we found and keep on finding things to sooth ourselves.

For me it’s me rekindling or intensifying my old interests and discovering new ones.

Generally speaking collecting and doing things related to these: coffee, crystals, tarot, plants, perfume, and books.

Believe it or not, I am actuality a minimalist. Keeping things that only bring value and taking out those that just bring clutter or unclarity.

However, these are only self-soothing tools. They help to temporarily alleviate woes of my day.

I feel like connecting with the people we love, holding on to our own personal spirituality, and having a healthy system of living that works for us is a much more cohesive and sustainable way to keep on moving forward in life.

I wish we continue to find at least one thing to hold on to and to keep on living.

It’s your Scorpio’s Solar Return! 🦂🌞

Thanks for staying with me through the months even if I’m not active as much as I was. (Sorry if I missed your messages, will get back to you after the festivities!)

I’ve been embodying the meaning of the Death Card as a Scorpio. I’ve been connecting with deities such as Loki and Shiva.

It’s always scary at first to face chaos and destruction, but when you immerse yourself with the reality that it is necessary, you will find peace in the process of destroying things that doesn’t serve you anymore.

The world is always in a cycle of destruction and creation. Our lives also have this process. If you ignore or run from this, it will only let the old musty pieces fester and rot.

This year allowed me to be the best version of the Scorpio- the Phoenix emerging from its own embers and ashes! The glorious legendary bird that’s an embodiment of rebirth from death.

It’s amazing how Scorpio is seen as a shady sign when in fact it represents our cycles and transitions. It is a representation of one’s process of going back and forth from dark to light.

Only if we find our shadow can we emerge and be a source of blinding light!

I randomly felt the need to remove the stickers on my tumbler a little earlier.

Just like how I change phone cases a lot, using stickers is a medium for me to communicate my current state.

Whenever I change into a different phone case and remove stickers from my tumbler I really feel relieved!

Seeing my tumbler all fresh and uncluttered somehow revitalized me.

I realized the most recent Mercury retrograde just ended two days ago and how I feel after rubbing away glue from stickers is the way I feel after a retrograde.

The past two months have been challenging for me as I picked up a lot of energies from the environment. This has been the reason that I was not posting as much on top of facing the unsaid words or the rephrased comments that I should have said straight up.

Every time we don’t say something or don’t say things as we want them to be, an imbalance and build up of energy brews in our Throat Chakras.

Having these imbalances will either cause a hyperactivity or hypo-activity in our Throat Chakra (among other chakras.)

One of the benefits of Mercury retrogrades is that it forces us to face those blockages in our communication. It forces us to correct or to learn from how we communicate. Through the process of this purging, our blockages and imbalances may be cleared or at least improved.

It can be such a nuisance but it is a necessary event for us avoid being stuck or bursting.

So while retrogrades may be a drag, they can be liberating and refreshing at the end!

We’ve been together for nearly 6 years. 😁

Throughout the years we’ve met a lot of people and received a lot of questions.

While I super appreciate people who cheered and supported us for all the years, there have been questions and reactions that I’m not very fond of.

“Who is the girl? Who’s the boy?”

- Johnny, dear. We’re two guys. There’s no girl or boy. We’re men who found love.

I guess this comes from a heteronormative point of view. While other couples may more or less subscribe to this, this isn’t the case all the time.

“Who’s the top or the bottom?”

Dude, WTF!!! Like what we do with our personal time is none of your business!!!

“Damn, you two are hot! What a shame!”

Siz, there’s no shame. We’re not going to go straight for you. We’re gay and we’re proud we’re in love. Nothing is waste there!

“You two are sooo masculine! It’s so great that that I thought you were straight”

Let’s talk gender expression. Just because we’re gay doesn’t mean we would grow our hair long and put lipstick.

There’s nothing wrong there. Anyone can express their sexuality the way they feel like it.

But it’s not a praise for you to tell is we’re straight-looking.

Then what are you implying about feminine/ effeminate gay men?

That’s micro aggression and still homophobic also!
