Due to the many inquiries and requests, we are now accepting new enrollees, but please note that slots are LIMITED and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Skill Up Samal offers a safe, caring, and supportive learning environment where every child is guided with love, patience, and professionalism. Our programs are designed to help children develop their skills, confidence, and independence at their own pace, with the guidance of trained and dedicated therapists and teachers.

If you are looking for a place where your child’s growth, development, and well-being are truly prioritized, Skill Up Samal is the right place for you. 💙

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) XI is set to open a Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU) satellite office in the Island Garden City of Samal, removing the need for residents to travel to Davao City for medical, burial, and other emergency assistance.

The initiative is the intent of DSWD XI Regional Director Aradanas, represented by Protective Service Division Chief Gemma D. Dela Cruz, during a courtesy call with City Mayor Lemuel T. Reyes on January 8, 2026, together with SHIELD Focal Person Dan Niel O. Salvador. Once established, the satellite office will have an assigned social worker to directly assist Samalenyos and ensure faster, more accessible delivery of social welfare services, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized sectors.
