A successful day of service and community health at PK San Vicente! 💙

The activity featured the PK MINI Launching and Short Program followed by comprehensive health services for our community.

Activities Conducted:

✅ Health Forum on Immunization, Nutrition, WASH, TB, and Non-Communicable Diseases
✅ PhilPEN Risk Assessment for adults 20 years old and above
✅ BP Monitoring and distribution of maintenance medicines
✅ Health consultations with medicines provided from LGU and PK DOH supplies
✅ MNP Distribution for children 6–12 months old
✅ Prenatal Services for pregnant women
✅ Distribution of Hygiene Kits and Jerry Cans to households with totally damaged houses
✅ Validation of OPT
✅ Home visits to patients with health concerns
✅ Mop-up Immunization
✅ Fun and energizing Health and Wellness Zumba 🕺💃

🚨 MALINIS NA KATAWAN AT KAPALIGIRAN, IWAS SORE EYES! 🚨

Ang sore eyes o conjunctivitis ay kondisyon sa mga mata na bunga ng iba’t ibang mga impeksyon, irritation at allergy. Ang mata ay ngkakaroon ng pamumul at pagluluha o eye discharge na maaring may kasamang pananakit o pangangati.

Maaaring makahawa ang sore eyes kung ang dulot ng sakit ay mikrobyo. Para maiwasan ang pagkalat nito sa ating mga evacuation centers, ipinapaalala ng DOH sa publiko na gawin ang mga sumusunod:

🔎Hugasan ang mga kamay gamit ang sabon at malinis na tubig bago at pagkatapos hipuin ang mga mata.
🔎 Labhan at palitang ang mga pillowcase araw-araw para iwas impeksyon.
🔎Huwag hawakan o kuskusin ang mga mata gamit ang mga daliri
🔎Alisin ang mga muta sa mga mata gamit ang malinis na cotton ball o paper towel
🔎 Gumamit ng eyedrop ayon sa payo ng doktor
🔎 Panatilihing malinis ang kapaligiran
🔎 Palakasin ang resistensya ng katawan sa pamamagitan ng wastong pagkain.

Kung may nararamdaman, agad na lumapit at magpakonsulta sa inyong Primary Care Provider sa lugar.
