🩺 MEDICAL AND DENTAL PROFILING | PROVINCE OF AURORA 🦷

BFP Central Luzon, under the leadership of our esteemed BFP Regional Director FCSUPT MANUEL G GOLINO, DSC, and through the guidance of FCINSP MARLON V CENTENO, DMD, Chief, Regional Health Service; FSINSP KHRISTINE CAYE B FERNANDEZ-AGANG-ANG, MD, Chief, Medical Unit; and FINSP NOMER V MENDOZA, DMD, Chief, Dental Unit, together with the dedicated personnel of the Regional Health Service—conducted the ongoing Medical and Dental Profiling of all BFP personnel at the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, Baler, Aurora.

This activity aims to ensure that every firefighter remains in optimal health and physical condition, capable of performing their duties efficiently and safely. Through continuous medical and dental assessments, the Bureau reinforces its commitment to the overall well-being, readiness, and resilience of its personnel—upholding the highest standards of service in safeguarding lives and properties across the region.

🦷 OCTOBER 2025 | DENTAL SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT 🪥

With the steadfast support of FCSUPT MANUEL G GOLINO, DSC, Regional Director of BFP Region 3, the Regional Dental Service, led by FINSP NOMER V MENDOZA, DMD, under the supervision of FCINSP MARLON V CENTENO, DMD, Chief, Regional Health Service, successfully delivered essential dental care throughout the month of October.

The team provided oral prophylaxis, tooth restoration, and other routine dental procedures for both commissioned and non-commissioned officers across the region — ensuring that every BFP personnel maintains optimal oral health.

BFP Region 3 Health Service 🩺, under the leadership of FCSUPT MANUEL G GOLINO, DSC, Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 3, and through the initiative of FSINSP KHRISTINE CAYE B FERNANDEZ-AGANG-ANG, MD, Chief, Regional Health Service, with the presence of FSSUPT JAN GARRY D LUNAS, DSC, Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO); FSSUPT JEANNETTE D JUSAYAN, DSC, Regional Chief of Staff (RCS); and FINSP NOMER V MENDOZA, DMD, Chief, Regional Dental Service, successfully conducted its first-ever Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training.

This pioneering seminar-workshop aimed to strengthen the psychological resilience and mental health responsiveness of BFP personnel across Region 3. The activity was made even more meaningful through the presence and expertise of FSINSP JOAN M SAN JUAN, RPm, RPsy, Chief, Mental Health Unit, BFP-NCR, who served as the Resource Speaker.

The training equipped participants with the knowledge and practical skills to provide immediate emotional and psychological support to individuals affected by critical incidents, disasters, or traumatic experiences. It also highlighted the importance of mental health awareness, self-care, and peer support within the fire service community.

This initiative marks another milestone for BFP Region 3 in promoting holistic wellness among its personnel—ensuring that those who serve and protect are also cared for in mind, body, and spirit.
