MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF ALL INCOMING FBRC PARTICIPANTS

With the support of BFP R3 Regional Director, FCSUPT MANUEL G GOLINO, DSC, the Regional Health Service—under the leadership of FSINSP KHRISTINE CAYE B FERNANDEZ-AGANG-ANG, MD, Chief of Health Services, together with FINSP NOMER V MENDOZA, DMD, Chief of the Regional Dental Service, and Health Service personnel—successfully conducted comprehensive medical, dental, and psychological evaluations for all Fire Basic Recruit Course (FBRC) participants.

The Fire Basic Recruit Course (FBRC) is a foundational training program designed to equip recruits with the essential skills and knowledge required of fire personnel. The course covers advanced first aid, emergency response, and other core competencies necessary for effective public service and emergency operations.

The National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Day, observed annually on July 17th — aims to raise public awareness about the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and encourage everyone to learn CPR.

CPR day was mandated by Republic Act No. 10871, also known as the Samboy Lim Law.
