We camped and made s’mores today — you heard that right! No October rain can stop us from fun learning! 🏕️
We had a blast at our obstacle course with exciting stations, following our teacher’s instructions while identifying, naming, and spelling words connected to our activity. It was wonderful watching our friends take turns as we practiced waiting patiently. We also enjoyed some friendly competition! Best of all, we were in our cutest Halloween costumes while pretending to toast our s’mores by the bonfire 🔥🍫
When learning is this fun, we’re always on our A-game! 💪🎃

The treats were sweet, but the laughter was sweeter 🍭 We played a fun mystery box game that made us practice our adjectives (and higher vocabulary words!) to describe what we felt with our hands! Such a fun — and scary — challenge! It was a bit tricky to follow the rules when it was our friends’ turns, but we’re always game when there’s a sweet prize on the line! 🍬🍫

Ghosting and Feelings? Yes, we’re serious—we talked about them and we’re not scared! 🤭👻🖤 But a yummy mummy sandwich for the trick—or treat!

It was even more fun with the Feelings Cards we used to talk about emotions, answer problem-solving questions, infer, predict, and so much more! We also shared our recent experiences: like feeling scared of strong typhoons and earthquakes, worried about getting sick from the flu going around, excited for the Halloween candies, and happy about our upcoming short school break! That’s a lot of feelings, and we’re glad we could talk about them.

Teacher reminded us that what matters most is understanding and expressing our feelings, especially to the people who love us the most. 💖

After giving great answers, spinning the wheel, and following procedures, we finally enjoyed our delicious mummy sandwiches! This Halloween-themed activity was truly a real treat! 🎃✨
