🎃✨ Once Upon a Spooky Time at OLMCMC! ✨🎃
Our little princes, princesses, and heroes brought the magic of Disney to life in this year’s Halloween Party 2025! Celebrated with our Carmelian kids and beloved patients, the day was filled with fun games, exciting snacks, colorful booths, and sweet treats that made everyone’s day extra magical. 🍭🍬

To spread the joy beyond the celebration, the team also visited our confined pediatric patients to share the Halloween spirit and hand out special loot bags filled with treats and smiles. 💖🎁 With hearts full of kindness and happiness, it truly became a spooktacular celebration where Disney dreams met Halloween fun, reminding us that happiness is the real magic spell! 🌟

Join us in welcoming Dr. Luisa E. Jacomina, an accomplished Radiation Oncologist, joining the Cancer Center at OLMCMC!

Dr. Jacomina is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Radiology and a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. She completed her Residency in Radiation Oncology at Benavides Cancer Institute, UST Hospital, serving as Chief Resident, and pursued advanced fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer Center (breast & head and neck cancers) and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

She also holds a Doctor of Medicine from UST and a B.Sc. in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University, and is certified by the United States Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Dr. Jacomina has received multiple honors, including the White Coat Award for Most Outstanding Resident and recognition for her research presentations at MD Anderson.

Her expertise, research experience, and dedication to patient-centered care make her an invaluable addition to our Mt. Carmel Cancer Center team.

We are proud to welcome Dr. Leizl B. Valerio, a distinguished Diagnostic and Radiation Radiology specialist, to OLMCMC.

Dr. Valerio is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Radiology and a Fellow of the Philippine College of Radiology, Ultrasound Society of the Philippines, CT-MRI Society of the Philippines, and Philippine Radiation Oncology Society. She completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Post-Residency Fellowships in Diagnostic Radiology and Radiation Oncology at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital, and her Postgraduate Internship at Dr. Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine from University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UP Manila College of Public Health. Dr. Valerio also shares her expertise as a faculty member at UP College of Medicine.

Dr. Valerio is affiliated with several hospitals at present. Her extensive experience and dedication to precision imaging and cancer care make her a vital addition to our Mt. Carmel Cancer Center team.
