As a heartfelt gesture of spreading holiday cheer, the GreenCity Family held a gift-giving activity earlier today for our patients. This simple yet meaningful initiative was our way of thanking those who have placed their trust and confidence in GreenCity Medical Center, recognizing that the hospital’s growth and success would not be possible without the people we serve.

Our employees personally handed out small tokens of appreciation and shared warm holiday wishes, bringing smiles and comfort to our patients during this special season. We are called to keep our faith in God and to trust in His plans and perfect timing. As we prepare for His coming, today’s Gospel reminds us to remain steadfast in faith and to continue believing in Him.

A central message in the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth is their decision to name their child John, breaking away from tradition. The name John, meaning “God is gracious” or “the Lord has shown favor,” stands as a testament to God’s miracle in granting them a child in their old age and to John’s mission of preparing the way for the Messiah.

Let us continue to hold on to our faith and trust in God’s plan. May we be inspired by His words and wisdom, and may we joyfully share the Good News with everyone during this festive season.

Ealier today, GreenCity Medical Center held its Seventh Night of Simbang Gabi at the UpperGround Level of the hospital.

The Gospel from Luke 1:46–56 reminds us of Mary’s song of praise—her gratitude, humility, and trust in God’s mercy. Through her example, we are called to remain humble, thankful, and faithful, trusting that God lifts up those who place their hope in Him.

As we continue our Simbang Gabi journey, may we carry this spirit of faith, service, and gratitude in our daily lives.

On December 21, 2025, GreenCity Medical Center held its 6th Simbang Gabi and celebrated the 4th Sunday of Advent.

The day’s Gospel (Matthew 1:18–24) reminds us of Joseph’s faith, humility, and obedience to God’s will. Despite uncertainty, he chose compassion and trust, allowing God’s promise to be fulfilled through the birth of Jesus—Emmanuel, God with us.

May this reflection inspire us to live with faith, understanding, and quiet courage as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.

As GreenCity Medical Center observed the 5th Day of Simbang Gabi on December 20, 2025, we reflected on the Gospel from Luke 1:26–38, the Annunciation; when the angel Gabriel foretold the birth of Jesus to Mary.

Mary’s humble “yes” reminds us of the power of faith, trust in God’s plan, and joyful obedience. As we draw closer to Christmas, may this message inspire us to serve with humility, carry hope in our hearts, and welcome the joy of Christ in our lives.

GreenCity Medical Center capped off the year with its final Birthday Banquet, honoring our November and December birthday celebrants. Throughout the year, the GreenCity Family took well-deserved moments away from their daily responsibilities to unwind, reconnect, and learn more about the importance of mental health in the workplace. It has truly been a year filled with meaningful learnings and new beginnings, making the entire program a success from start to finish.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Joe Michael Chu for generously sharing his time, insights, and guidance on mental health awareness, and to our Human Resources Department for their unwavering dedication and efforts in organizing yet another successful Birthday Banquet that continues to foster joy and connection within the GMC family.

To all our November and December celebrants, we wish you continued happiness and joy, especially during this season of love and giving. Happy Holidays to our celebrants and to everyone in the GreenCity Medical Center family!

The preparation for His coming reminds us that God hears our prayers, even when we feel it is already too late. Elizabeth and Zechariah prayed for a child, and God answered their prayer, showing us that He listens to every prayer—whether the journey is long or, as in their case, seems impossible because of age. God often has surprising plans for each of us. They may come unexpectedly, but as long as we continue to believe, we can trust that we are always in His loving hands.

Let us remain faithful to His word and steadfast in prayer. No matter the time or circumstance, God hears us and sees us. His timing and ways may sometimes confuse us, but through the Gospel, He enters our suffering, redeems our pain, and assures us of the promise of joy.

Today, we continue to move forward in faith, believing that God is with us. The Gospel tells the story of the Angel visiting Joseph after he learned of Mary’s pregnancy, assuring him not to be afraid, for the child would fulfill the prophecy of “Immanuel,” which means God is with us.

In moments of doubt, we are reminded not to fear. Each day calls us to live with courage and determination. As we journey through life, let us hold on to faith, overcome the things that hold us back, and continue working steadfastly toward our goals.

Earlier today, the second night of Simbang Gabi was held. Today’s celebration reminded us to never let go of our faith. While life may not always be perfect, trusting in God strengthens us through every challenge. Our faith may be tested, but as long as we hold on to it, we are guided toward hope and goodness.

As we move forward through the remaining days of the year, let us never doubt God’s presence in our lives. United as one family, may we keep in our hearts the assurance that He will never leave us—through both good times and difficult moments.
