💙 ITRMC Celebrates World Hospice and Palliative Care Day 2025 💙

Last October 22, 2025, the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC) Palliative and Hospice Care Unit joined the global observance of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day with the theme “Achieving the Promise: Universal Access to Palliative Care.” 🌍

This year’s celebration highlighted the shared vision of making palliative care accessible to all — ensuring that every individual, regardless of age, background, or condition, receives care that upholds comfort, compassion, and dignity.

Through this meaningful activity, the ITRMC Palliative and Hospice Care Team reaffirmed its commitment to improving the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. The event served as a reminder that palliative care is not only about end-of-life support, but about helping patients live as fully and comfortably as possible. 💐

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our healthcare workers, partners, and families who continue to advocate for compassionate, patient-centered care. Together, we move closer to achieving the promise of universal access to palliative care. 💙

Sa Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC), ang aming Palliative and Hospice Care Unit (PHCU) ay nagbibigay ng mapagkalinga at holistikong pangangalaga para mapabuti ang kalidad ng buhay ng mga pasyenteng may malubhang karamdaman.

Ang aming pangkat ay nagbibigay ng indibidwal na pangangalaga upang maibsan ang inyong mga sintomas at mag-alok ng suporta — pisikal, emosyonal, at espiritwal — para sa inyo at sa inyong pamilya.
