Husbands, you can’t mismanage your home and still expect God to establish anything through you.
“He who troubles (mismanages) his own house will inherit the wind [nothing of lasting value],
And the foolish will be servant to the wise-hearted.” Prov 11:29
Let me speak to you as a man delivered from this:
What you mismanage today becomes the ruins you inherit tomorrow.
It follows you.
It governs you.
It torments you.
And we’ve reached a point where too many men are blaming their wives for the spiritual ruins of THEIR OWN leadership.
WE CAN NOT JUSTIFY A LACK OF LEADERSHIP AND SPIRITUAL COVERING OVER OUR HOME.
“If she prayed for me better, I’d be stronger.”
“If she didn’t disrespect me, I’d finally act like a man.”
“If she didn’t have so many issues, I’d be more invested.”
“If she would stop nagging, I’d start leading not avoiding.”
“If she would follow me, I’d finally find the courage to lead.”
“If she appreciated me more, I’d have the energy to engage.”
“If she were more affectionate, I’d be more patient & willing.”
“If she stopped bringing up the past, I’d finally move forward.”
That’s not leadership.
That’s deflection.
And a double-minded man can not establish a home that stands.
A Godly man doesn’t manage his home because it’s easy...
He manages it because it’s:
..his stewardship...his obedience to the Lord...his covenant responsibility.
It’s not conditional on your wife’s behaviors or responses.
It’s not based on her perfection.
It’s not driven by your emotions.
