Tanza Specialists Medical Center

22 October 2025 – Metro Pacific Health Corporation (MPH) today announced the completion of its investment in Tanza Specialists Medical Center (TSMC), further expanding its nationwide hospital network to 29 premier facilities.
Under the visionary leadership of its Chairman, Manuel V. Pangilinan, MPH continues to strengthen its commitment to making quality healthcare more accessible across the Philippines – through its journey that began 17 years ago with its first investment in Makati Medical Center.

This investment in Tanza marks our 18th provincial partnership - and our third in the growing province of Cavite. Following the recent earthquake and aftershocks in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, we assure everyone that San Francisco Doctors Hospital (SFDH) remains structurally safe, fully functional, and ready to serve. Our commitment to providing continuous and compassionate care remains unwavering.

Our emergency response protocols were immediately activated, ensuring the safe and orderly evacuation of patients, doctors, and staff. We sincerely thank our Emergency Preparedness Team, hospital personnel, local responders, and community partners for their swift assistance — including those who helped set up tents, provided chairs, and supported patient comfort during the process.

A thorough safety inspection carried out by the Municipal Engineering Office confirmed that the hospital sustained no major structural damage and is safe for continued operations.

We commend everyone’s cooperation, calmness, and teamwork, which allowed us to maintain a safe and caring environment throughout the incident. The safety and well-being of our patients, doctors, and employees will always be our top priority.
