On our 31st Founding Anniversary Celebration we are happy to share that Cebu South Medical Center is proud to be one of only seven Level III DOH hospitals nationwide fully recognized for implementing the Zero Balance Billing Policy for all hospital admissions

From the very beginning, despite financial and infrastructure challenges, we have kept our goal, no patient should ever be denied the care they need because of money. Today, as NBB now known as Zero Balance Billing is strengthened nationwide, we continue to uphold this commitment with the strong support of the Department of Health.

We recognize the high volume of patients we serve daily, across the Emergency Room, Wards, and more than 600 individuals in our Outpatient Department (OPD). We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we manage this surge. To better serve everyone, a new 7 Storey building is now under construction, which will significantly expand our hospital’s capacity and patient facilities. This major development is expected to be operational by 2027.
