LOOK I DepEd CSJDM CONDUCTS THE THREE-DAY SCHOOLS DIVISION TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL HEADS CUM: STRENGHTENING OF THE CHILD PROTECTION COMMITTEE AND LEARNER PROTECTION AND SPORTS CAPACITY BUILDING
Convened at the Gumamela Hall and Activity Center, City Convention Center, Sapang Palay Proper, CSJDM on October 10-12, 2023 were public and private School Heads and School Administrators organized by the School Governance & Operations Division (SGOD) spearheaded by EPS Bernadette B. Rosaroso.
Composing the Training Workshop were presentations and discussions that aimed to ensure that all learners are protected and safe from abuse, violence, exploitation, bullying and all other forms of abuse and promote advocacy programs, projects and activities relative to learner protection. Topics tackled were: Case Management Protocols presented by Attorney Benedict John C. Aure, Legal Officer III , Roles and Responsibilities of the Child Protection Committee presented by EPS Bernadette B. Rosaroso, Preventive Measures to Address Child Abuse, Exploitation, Violence, Discrimination, Bullying, and Other Acts of Abuse presented by Police Corporal Kristel Manglo, Social Behavior Change (SBC) Strategies for Learner Protection Campaign Introduction to Localized Child Pritection Policy presented by Ms. Rowena Clavito Gugulan, City Social Welfare and Development Officer, The Sports Club Manual and Challenges and Directions in the Implementation of DepEd Sports Club presented by EPS Leny Delos Reyes, Newly designated Division Sports Officer.
Gracing the said training workshop was Dr. Ericson S. Sabacan CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent.
Concluding the said training workshop was the distribution of Certificate of Participation and Photo Opportunity.
