International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day

PRAYER

Mahabaging Diyos,

Nilikha Mo ang bawat isa sa amin sa Iyong larawan at kahawig. Sa araw na ito, kami ay nagtitipon upang gunitain ang mga nawala sa amin dahil sa HIV Infection at AIDS, at upang ipanalangin ang mga patuloy na nakikipaglaban sa sakit na ito.

Hinihiling namin ang Iyong walang hanggang kahabagan para sa mga namatay. Nawa ang kanilang mga kaluluwa ay makahanap ng kapayapaan at kapahingahan sa Iyong mga bisig.

Nawa ang Iyong pagpapagaling ay bumaba sa mga maysakit at naghihirap sa HIV Infection at AIDS. Bigyan Mo sila ng lakas at tapang upang harapin ang kanilang kalagayan.

Hinihiling namin ang Iyong karunungan at gabay para sa mga nagtatrabaho sa pagsugpo sa HIV. Pagpalain Mo ang kanilang mga pagsisikap sa pagpapaunlad ng mga paggamot, at sa pagbibigay ng pangangalaga at suporta sa mga nangangailangan.

Panginoon, nawa ang Kandila ng Pagkalinga at Liwanag ng Pag-asa ay magbigay ng inspirasyon sa amin upang kumilos nang may pakikiramay at pagkakaisa. Nawa tayo ay magtulungan upang lumikha ng isang mundo na walang HIV, kung saan ang bawat tao ay minamahal, tinatanggap, at may pagkakataon na umunlad.

Sa pamamagitan ng Iyong awa at biyaya, Panginoon,

➢ Nawa ang stigma at diskriminasyon na nauugnay sa HIV ay mawala.
➢ Nawa ang lahat ng tao ay may access sa pagsusuri, paggamot, at pangangalaga sa HIV.
➢ Nawa ang mga taong namumuhay na may HIV ay makaranas ng dignidad, paggalang, at suporta.
➢ Nawa ang pananaliksik at pag-unlad para sa isang lunas sa HIV ay magpatuloy at magtagumpay.
➢ Nawa ang isang araw ay dumating na ang HIV ay hindi na isang banta sa kalusugan ng tao.

Ito ang aming panalangin sa pamamagitan ni Hesukristo, Iyong Anak, na kasama Mo at ng Espiritu Santo ay nabubuhay at naghahari magpakailanman. Amen.

Today is International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day, it is held every third Sunday of May every year to remember the many lives lost to AIDS. It is an opportunity to honour those who dedicated their lives to helping people living with and affected by HIV and continue to mobilise our communities in solidarity.

The 2025 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial theme is “We Remember. We Rise. We Lead.” A three-part theme linking memory, resilience, and leadership.
