Grateful to have spent the day learning at the “Digital Balance: Staying Wired for Positivity, Connection, and Growth” lecture-forum by PMHA - Lipa Batangas Chapter.

Dr. Michele S. Alignay, RPsy, RGC reminded us of the importance of raising digitally resilient kids, while Dr. Ronaldo A. Motilla, RPsy deepened our understanding of digital wellbeing through Positive Psychology.

The spirit of Christmas glowed even brighter today as our residents took part in a special Christmas Decoration Activity, where they created their own DIY Christmas lights, each one filled with handwritten messages of blessings, gratitude, and personal inspirations.

As they carefully designed their lights, they also took time to reflect on the things that uplift them, the people who support them, and the small victories that make their journeys meaningful. Every light became a symbol of hope, a reminder that even during challenging moments, there is always something to be thankful for.

This activity isn’t just about scoring points - it’s a fun and engaging way to sharpen memory for mental stimulation, enhance active listening for better harmonious teamwork, and practice following instructions to stay on track. Plus, it’s a great test of focus, helping us stay present and mindful, both in the game and in life.

Representatives from various departments of Sanctum Home Care attended the 26th WAPR Annual Conference – NGO Movement for Mental Health, a gathering focused on strengthening mental health governance in the Philippines. Our team gained valuable insights that will help enhance our practice and apply improved approaches within the facility.

The conference highlighted the Biopsychosocial–Spiritual approach, emphasizing how mental health is shaped by biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors. It also recognized the vital role of NGOs in addressing not only mental health needs but also the neurological and substance-related challenges affecting our society today.

Organized by the World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (WAPR), the event brought together mental health professionals and advocates committed to advancing psychosocial rehabilitation.

Held at the NCMH Conference Hall, Mandaluyong last November 27–28, 2025, the seminar was a meaningful and enriching learning experience for our team.

General staff meetings are held every first or second Tuesday of the month. This is where anchors discuss future plans and review past events at the facility. We get involved, we participate, we plan, we discuss, and we get updated on important matters to ensure continuous improvement and teamwork in providing quality care.
