Strengthening skills, ensuring protection! 💉
The San Mariano Rural Health Unit, under the leadership of Municipal Health Officer Dr. Amelia P. Zambrano, successfully conducted the Basic Immunization Training with Cold Chain Logistics Management, Interpersonal Communication, and Reaching Every Purok (REP) Strategy for midwives and nurses. The activity was held at the Evacuation Center, Sta. Filomena, San Mariano, Isabela, in partnership with the Isabela Provincial Health Office (IPHO) on October 29–30 and November 3, 2025.
Through the guidance of Ms. Mary Jane D. Talamayan, RN, National Immunization Program Coordinator, and with the expertise of our distinguished resource speakers from the Isabela Provincial Health Office — Ms. Chamille Jayne F. Claravall, Ms. Maria Victoria C. Ocampo, and Ms. April Joy S. Francisco — the training significantly enhanced the participants’ knowledge, skills, and commitment to the delivery of high-quality immunization services.
💉Cold Chain Management ensures vaccines remain safe and potent.
💬 Interpersonal Communication builds trust between health workers and the community.
🏡 Reaching Every Purok Strategy guarantees that every child, even in far-flung areas, receives life-saving vaccines.
Together, we aim for a healthier, well-protected San Mariano where NO CHILD IS LEFT BEHIND. ❤️🌍
